PRESIDENTS  MESSAGE:

 

Hi Y'all,

     An AVA meeting is scheduled at 8:30 AM on Saturday, March 13, at Foothill High School to continues discussions on naming two American Viticultural Areas in our North State region.  We will not only attempt to finalize the geographic names of these regions but also review the draft petitions and set course for continued advancement to completion of the petition process.  Those who have inputs are invited, we need to finalize discussions, resolve issues, and reach agreement. 
     The end result of this meeting is to set a timetable for final drafting and submission of the petitions.

     Meeting room is on the right side of the Foothill High Campus.  Foothill High is just north of Palo Cedro on Deschutes Road with a right turn at the main entry.  As you enter, stay to the right hand parking area, look for the Faculty Lounge and meeting room which are the furthest west-side buildings (toward Deschutes Road) inside a low cyclone fence.  Not hard to find once you've been there!  Look for the GRAPE GROWER ASSOCIATION sign.
