ASSOCIATE
MEMBERS BIOGRAPHY
JARE' VINEYARDS
Rob Early & Janet Anderson
In
2001, they bought 3.39 acres in Anderson and are using
three acres for their vineyard. Early
and Anderson originally wanted to grow grapes and sell
them to Napa Valley, but they changed their minds when
they saw an announcement in a newspaper for a viticulture
meeting in 2002 at Robert Hoopers vineyard. They
knew they were hooked after attending the meeting.
They wanted to be a part of the association and Early is
now on his third term as a board member.

members, we, Rob Early and Janet Anderson, will do our
best to fill the void left by the closing of The Beverage
Co. We realize that filling Ray's and Betty's shoes is an
impossible task. However, we will strive to meet your
needs from the vineyard creation to storing your wine, and
everything in between. We will rely upon your valuable
input regarding all your needs and wishes. Please feel
free to contact us with your requests, suggestions and any
words of wisdom or inspirational ideas.

The
implementation of natural enemies to
regulate pest populations is accomplished through discovery
and introduction of new natural enemies, by conservation of
existing natural enemy populations, and by periodic
augmentative releases of mass-reared natural enemies. These
three activities are basic tenets of successful applied
biological control. The effective implementation of these
tenets to achieve better pest management is highly dependent
upon knowledge of the target pests and their natural enemies,
and the economic significance of pest population densities in
affected habitats.
