Lassen Hills Cellars- Sam Marovich of  is making a portion of his 2008 Chardonnay crop available for SCVA members and friends.  Sam has 38 acres of grapes located off of Dersch Road near intersection with Ash Creek Road, south east of Palo Cedro in the rolling Lassen foothills.  Sam's vines were not affected by the April 19 - 20 freeze which damaged many other vineyards throughout the area and State.  His vines are reaching full maturity with a traditional ripening time in mid-August.
