The Winery:
Intermountain Vineyard and Winery is
situated on a five acre estate north
east of Redding. This is an area of
pretty significant summer heat, but
still enjoys a bit of that great evening
cooling off the mountains. There is
currently no tasting room located at the
winery, but one is coming soon with the
final approval of the winery bond and
permit in 2008.

|
The Vineyards:
The estate is planted to not only wine
grapes, but table grapes, blackberries,
raspberry, figs and pears as well as
plumbs. The
wine grapes grown are primarily Viognier,
Muscat, Zinfandel, Chardonnay and Syrah.

|
|
The Wines:
Intermountain produces wine from their
estate grown grapes in addition to a large
selection of fruit wines. Fruit wines are
particularly popular on the East Coast,
but have only just begun to develop a
following in the west. He currently makes
these wines from estate grown figs,
raspberries, blackberries, peaches and
coming soon is pomegranate.
